A Way Home America officially launched two weeks ago on June 3rd. We have two projects underway currently that we want to be sure you know about:
- We are launching 100-Day Challenges in three communities. These 100-Day Challenges aim to uncover innovative solutions to youth homelessness with a powerful sense of urgency. The launch of these challenges are a partnership with the Rapid Results Institute, HHS, HUD, Melville Charitable Trust, Casey Family Programs and the Raikes Foundation.
Read more about 100-Day Challenges on our blog and express your communities interest here. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, and please note that the deadline for communities to express interest is this Monday 6/20.
- We are working to speak in a collective voice about what is needed to end youth homelessness in 2020. Our Steering Committee, key stakeholders and young people are identifying actions and policy necessary to eliminate youth and young adult homelessness. We will communicate these recommendations to the next presidential administration.
Please join our next Advisory Community meeting to learn more and stay involved. We’ll meet in Washington DC on July 25th from 1pm – 5pm. All are welcome, however due to space considerations, please RSVP with the link below to confirm your attendance.
We welcome you to forward this email, join our social networks and spread the word!
