PARTNERSHIPS

We are proud to work alongside transformational organizations working to end youth homelessness across our country. By working hand in hand with homeless youth providers, advocates, researchers, government agencies, philanthropists and young people dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness among all youth and young adults in the U.S, we are able to combine our strengths to find innovative solutions to the challenges we face. Our country is at a critical point where we can leverage local, state, and national efforts to end youth homelessness by building on a foundation of decades of advocacy and work on the ground to support and uplift our youth.

A Way Home America truly values bringing youth advocates together in one place. They are a team of people who are passionate and uniquely equipped to dismantle the systems that cause youth homelessness.
— Mason Persons, Community Organizer, and Facilitator
Youth homelessness is a global problem. A Way Home America allows youth advocates like me to connect with more people to find creative solutions. They are focused on helping get young people back on their feet and stay on their feet independently.
— Lauren Long, Indianapolis Youth Action Board Member and Facilitator
The Melville Charitable Trust is proud to be a founding and ongoing supporter of A Way Home America. We are particularly inspired by AWHA’s commitment to build and shift the power of Black, Brown, Indigenous and LGBTQ young people with lived experience and have learned so much from their leadership in this space. The transformative vision of a AWHA’s New Deal framework provides a pathway to end youth and young adult homelessness and outlines the roles we can all play in making this vision a reality.
— Aimee Hendrigan, Executive Vice President, Melville Charitable Trust
Every single person involved with A Way Home America lives their values in explicit ways that support the mission. The team always approaches their work from an across system perspective and thinks through how young people move through those systems. Everything from social justice to racial equity and financial literacy can and will make a difference in ending youth homelessness.
